The singer was born on 26 November 1986 at Santa Monica California in the United States of America. She is the sole daughter of Vincenzo Barba. Her family relocated into Point Pleasant New Jersey when she was just six years old. Red Bank Catholic High School was where she completed her formal education in New Jersey. After graduating of Catholic University with a Bachelor's in Architecture She continued to pursue her studies at the college. From the age of 4 when she started playing the violin, earning her the title Violin Girl. It was because of her talents that she was referred to with the title of Violin Girl.
