She was only fifteen years old. Mitchell was a rough experience and Angela had a huge influence on the song Angel in the album she released her debut. The song was featured in the 7th Heaven Episode Nothing Endures But Change and in Chicken Soup for Preteen Soul she wrote about her experience. Mitchell lost her close friend Angela in a road accident. The young singer was just 15 years of age. Mitchell wrote Angela, the first song on her album for Angela. Her novel Chicken Soup of the Preteen Soul and her 7th Heaven episode, Nothing Endures But Change also mentions the incident.
